Philippe Bianconi

Since making his orchestral debut with the Nice Philharmonic in 1975, the silver medal winner in the 7th Van Cliburn International Competition, French pianist Philippe Bianconi has appeared in North America with the orchestras of Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas and Minnesota. His other international appearances include engagements with both Paris Radio Orchestras, the Orchestre National de France and the Orchetsre Philharmonique. Philippe Bianconi made an acclaimed recital debut at Carnegie Hall in 1987. He has performed with such distinguished conductors as Lorin Maazel, Kurt Masur and Christoph von Dohnányi.

Philippe Cassard

Philippe Cassard has established an international reputation as concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician since giving a joint recital with Christa Ludwig in Paris in 1985. The same year he was fi nalist at the Clara Haskil Competition and in 1988 he won the first prize at the AXA Dublin International Piano Competition. His concerto appearances include performances with the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, the Hungarian National Philharmonic, and the Danish Radio Symphony. He has worked with many conductors including Jeffrey Tate, Sir Alexander Gibson, Vladimir Fedossejev, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Raymond Leppard, Charles Dutoit, Armin Jordan, Marek Janowski, Emmanuel Krivine, and Thierry Fischer.

Carl Davis

Carl Davis CBE is an American conductor and composer who has been living in the UK since 1961.  He is a conductor with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and regularly conducts the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.  He has written music for more than 100 television programs, but is best-known for creating music to accompany films that were originally silent. He has assisted in the orchestration of the symphonic works of Paul McCartney.
