
Caroline started singing after completing a music degree at Durham University, where she majored in composition. She received a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance Studies from the University of London, and went on to gain stage experience in productions with Southgate College Opera and Opera Holland Park.
Caroline's operatic roles have included performances as Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute - Mozart) for British Youth Opera and Surrey Opera, Clorinda (La Cenerentola - Rossini) and Adina (L'elisir d'amore - Donizetti) for Vox Lirika, Adèle (Die Fledermaus - Strauss) for Steyning Music Society, Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Tutte - Mozart) and Tatyana (Eugene Onegin - Tchaikovsky) for Birmingham Chamber Orchestra and the Lace Seller (Death in Venice - Britten) and Airport Office/ZDF Director (Playing Away - Mason) in the 2007 Aldeburgh and Bregenz Festivals.
As a concert performer she has sung in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and St John's, Smith Square. She has made regular appearances as a soloist for the Adoramus Choir and Orchestra, with whom she has performed in numerous venues around England and Italy, highlights being Mozart's Exsultate, Jubilate, Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, Schubert's Magnificat and Rachmaninov's Vocalise.
Caroline now sings regularly with the BBC Singers, and is also an experienced session singer for film and TV, most notably having recently took part in the recording of the soundtrack for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
She has received coaching from David Syrus, Mary King, Anthony Legge and Donald Maxwell, and currently studies with Arwel Treharne Morgan. Future engagements include singing the role of Micaela (Carmen - Bizet) for Vox Lirika.Get the Flash Player to see this player.
