GOAL
To continue playing and teaching trumpet as a soloist, private teacher, clinician, and as a member of the trumpet section with orchestras and bands that will better satisfy my desire for doing better music and playing with a quality orchestra or band. Interested in and enjoy playing all types of legitimate music including 20th & 21st Century, Classical, Baroque, etc.

Private teachers have included Max Woodbury (Indianapolis Symphony), Donald Benedetti (Metropolitan Opera), Boyd Hood (Los Angeles Philharmonic). Current student of Paul Everett (Professor of Trumpet Ball State University) and Marvin C. Perry II, (Principal trumpet of the Indianapolis Symphony).
Approximately 60 hours of graduate school credit.
EXPERIENCE:
Professional trumpet player with various orchestras including Muncie Symphony(05-07), Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Anderson Symphony(06), etc. Played principal trumpet with various community bands. Currently principal trumpet with Scottish Rite Orchestra, Athenaeum Orchestra, Hendricks Symphony, and Phillips Wind Ensemble, soloist with all of the aforementioned groups, and freelance musician.
Public and private school band director, 24 years.
Served 17 years as a high school band director and 7 years
as a middle school and elementary school director.
Private teacher with trumpet students ranging from beginning to college and adult levels
